At Creative Minds, we have a prepared environment (a classroom that invites children to respond to their natural desire to learn) that includes the 5 main components of a Montessori classroom.

The 5 components are:

  • Practical life
  • Sensorial
  • Mathematics
  • Language
  • Culture/Science

Prepared classroomThe activities in the classroom promote critical and analytical thinking, co-ordination, fine and large muscle movement, number concepts, reading and writing, problem solving skills and concentration development.

At Creative Minds, we have an outdoor classroom where children have the opportunity to run and explore, as well as extend inside learning. The children are exposed to world diversity by being part of projects that help other countries, and other children. They are a part of the community they live in, as well as the community of the school; recognizing and appreciating classroom diversity.

The children experience Spanish classes, circle time, show and tell (public speaking), and go on field trips where inside learning is made concrete.

The activities at Creative Minds are age appropriate for the developmental needs of children aged from 30 months to 5 years.
